Get to Know Me

Susan, originally from London, England, has a passion for fine art, gracious living, and more than 35 years as a leading real estate broker. She moved to the desert community in 1984 to join the sales team at the newly opened Vintage Club. 

Susan has had the privilege of listing and selling some of the most prestigious homes throughout the desert’s country club communities and also in Southern California’s most exclusive luxury markets, including Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, and Rancho Santa Fe. She has conducted more than one billion dollars in transactions and has consistently ranked among the top 100 producers in California. 

Susan has gained a reputation for representing celebrities and Fortune 500 CEOs with integrity and privacy and has been regularly asked to contribute to many publications and make guest appearances on radio and television.

Her philanthropic interests include Operation Smile, The Make-a-Wish Foundation, and several other children’s charities.

Since their early days working together at the Vintage Club, Susan and her business partner, Deirdre Coit, have pursued their real estate passion. 32 years ago, they formed the formidable Canavan Coit & Associates team and continue to dominate the luxury market in the Greater Palm Springs area. Susan has dual USA and UK citizenship and presently resides in Indian Wells with her husband John.
